Technology is a way to solve problems, to make life easier and more exciting. It’s a creative pursuit that’s practiced by all: young, old, from the formally trained to the backyard tinkerer. Imagination Factory – Invent and Play captures the spirit of innovation. Visitors can investigate basic mechanical tools such as gears and pulleys to discover how these seemingly simple machines can be used to create ingenious inventions.
Imagination Factory – Invent and Play is a modular, and caters for a range of venues, from regional to metropolitan.
Exhibition Themes
The exhibition also points out where you can find simple machines at home, school, work or play and challenges the idea that high-tech electronics is the only kind of technology that is important in our lives.
Imagination Factory covers simple technologies including:

Audience
The exhibition is targeted primarily at children aged between 8 and 14 years old but can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
